Zulay Shenao is a Colombian born. She is an American-born Colombian actor. Her most notable role has been as Esperanza in her role in the Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If loving you is incorrect'. Zulay Henao has appeared in many movies, such as Illegal Tender,' 'Takers,' Boy Wonder,' and True Memoirs of an International Assassin. She was born in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia and with her family moved to the USA when she was just four years old. Henao, after finishing high school, enlisted for three years in the U.S. Army and went to Methodist College in Fort Bragg (North Carolina) during her time of duty. She then pursued an acting course at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She also worked odd jobs and began her acting career in the Hollywood scene.
